- Chepchoina, Njoro, Titimet and Chepsalei secondary schools have received new buses to improve learners’ mobility.

Jubilant celebrations marked the official launch of four new school buses by Endebess MP Dr Robert Pukose at Chepchoina Secondary School in Robinson Area.
The buses have been allocated to Chepchoina Secondary School, Njoro Secondary School, Titimet Secondary School and Chepsalei Secondary School, improving access to reliable transport for hundreds of learners.
The event featured performances by students from the beneficiary schools, including songs, poems, traditional dances and spoken word presentations.
Students said the new buses would ease transportation during academic trips, educational excursions, co-curricular competitions and exchange programmes.
They noted that transport challenges had previously limited some learners’ participation in activities outside their schools and expressed optimism that the buses would broaden their exposure and enhance their learning experience.
The students described the buses as an opportunity to participate more effectively in academic and co-curricular activities and pledged to make good use of them.
Schools benefit from infrastructure projects
The commissioning adds to education projects implemented in the constituency, including the construction of classrooms, laboratories, dormitories and other learning facilities.
The constituency has also supported bursaries for needy students and projects aimed at improving access to water in schools and surrounding communities.
With the addition of the four buses, most established secondary schools in Endebess Constituency now have school buses, improving learners’ mobility and participation in activities outside their institutions.
Pukose said newly established schools would also be considered for future allocations.
Education stakeholders attending the ceremony welcomed the buses, saying reliable transport would enable learners to participate more effectively in educational and co-curricular programmes.

The buses were officially handed over to the beneficiary schools during the ceremony at Chepchoina Secondary School.
