Members of the Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT), Makueni Branch, took to the streets in a demonstration demanding the immediate transfer of County Director of Education Lydia Mutegi.
The protesting teachers accused Mutegi of harassment against the Sub-County Director, oppression of school heads and teachers, and other serious grievances affecting the education fraternity in the county.
