Panic gripped Nduru Boys High School in South Mugirango after a fire broke out on the school premises on Monday evening.
According to information from sources at the school, the fire spread rapidly, prompting an urgent appeal for the Kisii County Fire Department to respond and help contain the blaze.
Students, teachers and other stakeholders were left in fear as efforts to control the fire got underway.
By the time of publication, no casualties had been reported.
