Education will be a top priority for the Ethanga Clan as members intensify efforts to improve opportunities for children through increased access to learning.
Speaking during a meeting held at the Grand Dream Development Party headquarters, the clan’s chairman, Pius Mwaka, said education is the foundation of meaningful development and pledged to mobilise resources to support learners.
“We cannot move forward as a community without education. It is the key to development, and we are committed to finding funds to educate our children,” said Mwaka.
He emphasised that investing in education would empower the next generation and help uplift the entire community.
“Our focus is the development of our people. When we educate our children, we are investing in a brighter future for the whole clan. We will also help each other. We will not sit and watch as some of us suffer from sickness or debt,” he added.

He noted that education remains one of the most important investments families and communities can make in securing long-term social and economic development.
