The Nandi North Sub-County Junior Secondary Schools (JSS) Games Jury is currently reviewing several disputes arising from the ongoing competitions, with decisions expected after a thorough examination of reports and evidence presented by the concerned parties.
Among the matters under consideration is the boys’ handball match involving Kagarwo Junior School and Bishop Mathews Junior School.
The case centres on allegations that Bishop Mathews fielded ineligible players during the competition, an issue that could have significant implications for the tournament standings.
Volleyball case under review
The jury is also deliberating on the boys’ volleyball match between Kalyet Junior School and Bishop Muge Junior School.
Details surrounding the dispute have been submitted for review, with both teams awaiting the final verdict.
Another matter attracting attention is the boys’ football fixture between Bishop Muge Junior School and Vision Leaders Junior School.
The case stems from allegations that a teacher physically assaulted a Vision Leaders player during the match, prompting concerns over discipline and sportsmanship at the games.
Jury reviewing evidence
According to tournament officials, the jury is carefully reviewing all available reports, evidence and submissions before making its determinations.
The process is aimed at ensuring fairness, transparency and adherence to the rules governing the competitions.
Stakeholders, including teams, coaches, officials, parents and supporters, have been urged to remain patient and allow the disciplinary and arbitration procedures to run their course without interference.
An official communication outlining the jury’s findings and decisions is expected once deliberations are concluded.
