The stage is set for the Kisumu County Kenya Secondary Schools Sports Association (KSSSA) football championship semi-finals, which will be played on Monday, June 22, 2026, at the Kenyatta International Stadium in Mamboleo.
Four schools will battle for places in the county final in what promises to be an exciting day of school football action.
In the first semi-final, Agai Mixed Secondary School will face Kisumu Boys High School starting at 9:00 a.m.
Both teams have impressed throughout the tournament and will be seeking victory to keep their hopes of county glory alive.
The second semi-final will kick off at 11:30 a.m., with Maseno School taking on Onjiko High School.
The match is expected to attract significant attention as both sides have displayed strong performances on their journey to the last four.
Organizers have confirmed that fans will be allowed entry to the stadium, providing an opportunity for students, parents, teachers and football enthusiasts to cheer on their teams in person.
Battle for county glory
The winners of the two semi-finals will advance to the county championship final, where they will compete for the coveted title and a chance to represent Kisumu County at the regional level.
Football followers across the county are eagerly anticipating the matches, with many predicting a potential final between traditional football powerhouses Kisumu Boys High School and Maseno School.
