St Mary’s Tachasis Girls Senior School in Tindiret Sub-County, Nandi County, held a thanksgiving and prayer ceremony to celebrate the performance of the 2025 KCSE candidates and prepare the current Form Four class for the national examinations.
Speaking during the event, Senior Principal Peris Bor said the school recorded improved performance in the 2025 KCSE examinations, with 105 students attaining C+ and above and securing university placement under the government-sponsored programme.
Bor said the institution is now targeting a higher university transition rate and improved performance in future examinations.

She also noted that the school continues to register success in co-curricular activities, with the hockey team qualifying for regional competitions.
Gender Cabinet Secretary Ann Cheptumo urged students to remain focused on their studies and work hard to achieve their academic goals.
Area MP Stephen Melly commended the students for their discipline and encouraged them to strive for better results.
Other leaders who attended the event included June Chepkemei, Hellen Chepkwony and Justice Kemei.
