Sabatia Technical and Vocational College (STVC) will hold its Inagural Graduation Ceremony tomorrow Friday June 05, 2026 with Technical Vocational Education and Training (TVET) Principal Secretary Dr. Esther Thaara Muoria expected to grace the historical occassion.

This comes as the Institutions expands it’s infrastructure with the latest being the Inagural of the STVC Modern Gate which will be launched officially tomorrow as it switches to the use of green energy, after installation of solar panels that runs all the operations in the College ensuring 24/7 power supply which has gone a long way in improving training of its surging trainees.

Speaking to Education News, Sabatia TVC Senior Principal Grace Apondi Titi welcomed all the stakeholders to the Ceremony tomorrow adding that since inception, the College has witnessed a rapid growth especially in the number of trainees which has now crossed over 3,000 mark.

“As Principal of Sabatia Technical and Vocational College, I am delighted to invite prospective trainees, parents, guardians, industry partners, alumni, and members of the community to the Inaugural Graduation Ceremony scheduled for Friday, 5th June 2026, at the College Graduation Square. This special occasion will celebrate the achievements of our graduands and the remarkable growth of the institution,” said Apondi.

“Since its establishment, Sabatia TVC has expanded its enrolment to over 3,000 trainees, introduced market-driven CBET programmes, strengthened industry partnerships and dual training opportunities, established the JITUME Digital Hub, advanced Recognition of Prior Learning (RPL), championed the Zero Waste and Green TVET initiatives, enhanced infrastructure through modern workshops and Abolution Block, a training restaurant, digital learning facilities, solarisation, and ongoing hostel development projects,” she added.

According to the Senior Principal, Sabatia TVC has distinguished itself through outstanding performance in national TVET skills competitions, quality training, and community empowerment initiatives such as the TAGDev 2 project, making it to be a Centre of Excellence in Skills Development.

Other senior government officials from the Ministry of Education, County Government and Sabatia Constituency leadership among other senior guests are expected to grace the historic occassion for the Vihiga based TVET Institution which is located in Sabatia Constituency, Sabatia Sub-County in Vihiga County.
