Kabarak University has invited scholars and professionals to submit abstracts and papers in categories ahead of the annual health conference.

Kabarak University has invited scholars and professionals to submit abstracts and papers in categories such as empirical research papers, best practice reports, policy briefs and health project progress reports, a head of the 2026 Annual Health Conference set to take place from June 25 to 26 under a hybrid format.

The university indicated that accepted papers and presentations will contribute to ongoing discussions on healthcare transformation and sustainable health systems in Kenya and beyond.

Submission of abstracts closes on May 15, 2026, while the final submission deadline for accepted papers is June 2, 2026.

The conference, organized by the university’s School of Medicine and Health Sciences, will be held under the theme: “Building Resilient Health Systems Through Innovation, Equity, and Multisectoral Action to Advance Universal Health Coverage.” And is set bring together researchers, healthcare professionals, policymakers and innovators to discuss strategies for strengthening health systems.

According to the university, the conference aims to provide a multidisciplinary platform for sharing research findings, policy briefs, innovations and best practices in healthcare delivery.

Participants are expected from academia, government institutions, health organizations and development partners.

The institution said the forum will focus on strengthening healthcare systems through collaboration, innovation and evidence-based policy discussions aimed at improving healthcare access and outcomes.

According to the organisers, the event will feature five major thematic tracks including innovation and technology for health systems strengthening, equity and inclusive health for all, multisectoral partnerships for resilient health systems, climate change and global health security, as well as policy, leadership and sustainable financing for universal health coverage.

The conference will be conducted both physically and virtually to allow wider participation from local and international delegates.
