Agoro Sare High School in Homa Bay County has received a timely morale and performance boost ahead of the upcoming school ball games after Chief Principal Dr Isaac Okeyo stepped in to equip the football team with new playing boots.
The boots were purchased from Oyugis Sports House, a well-known sports equipment supplier in the region that has continued to support school teams with kits, balls, boots and training gear across Nyanza.
The intervention comes at a crucial time as the school intensifies preparations for the highly competitive games, with players undergoing rigorous training sessions focusing on fitness, ball control, tactical awareness and team coordination.
The coaches have also increased training intensity in a bid to ensure the squad peaks at the right moment.
Players welcomed the support, saying the new boots have boosted their confidence and comfort on the pitch.
They noted that quality equipment plays a key role in reducing injuries, improving performance and enhancing overall team morale during both training and competitive matches.
Under Dr Isaac Okeyo’s leadership, Agoro Sare High School has maintained a strong commitment to co-curricular development, with sports being one of the key focus areas.
