Senetwo Comprehensive School from West Pokot County has clinched the highly contested Rift Valley Basketball trophy to retain their championship title.
In a tough game against Nandi County, Senetwo players displayed high discipline and skills which enabled them to become the edge their opponents and lift the trophy.
Leaders from the county laud the school for winning the trophy.

The newly elected KNUT Executive Secretary West Pokot Branch Dorcas Cheyech Lotome and her Assistant Executive Secretary Joseph Rusii congratulated the team for the great win.
“It’s due to the dedication of teachers, coaches and the technical bench that made Senetwo team to be on top of the chart in Basketball in Rift Valley Region.” Said Jonathan Lokudia, the Head of Institution.

Lokudia further requested the West Pokot County leaders to assist the school to construct a modern Basketball Court in the school to assist the players in sharpening their skills and new technics.
He particularly pleads with the West Pokot County governor Simon Kachapin who is the Sports Chair in COG, Peter Lochakapong the sports chair in the National Assembly and Mark Lomunokal the chair of all the sports stadiums in Kenya to assist the school in the construction of a modern court in the school.
Lokudia also praised his technical bench led by madam Brenda Ptiron and Akwen Khon.
The team is now preparing to proceed to the Nationals.
