Students of Kapsokwony Boys High School in Mt Elgon Constituency, Bungoma County yesterday gone on strike following the alleged missing of Ksh 17Million from the Kapkugo festivals.
In a night rampage, it is reported that the students vandalized the school fence, broke window panes of buildings and left school in bad state.

Despite no official released from the school, an anonymous source within the school says investigations are ongoing to get to the bottom of the matter.
The Kapkugo Festival is a cultural event that brings together the Kalenjin community to celebrate their heritage and traditions. Held in Mt. Elgon, it’s significant to the Kalenjin people, aiming to preserve their culture for future generations.
The festival promotes cultural education, community bonding, and local tourism.
