The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has re-opened applications for placement to diploma and certificate programmes at the Kenya Medical Training College (KMTC) for the March 2026 intake.
In a public notice released this week, KUCCPS announced that the application window targets Kenya Certificate of Secondary Education (KCSE) holders who have not been successfully placed to KMTC. The opportunity also extends to candidates who had applied during the January 2026 placement cycle but were not admitted.
The placement agency said the move is aimed at giving eligible students another chance to secure admission into various medical training programmes offered across KMTC campuses countrywide.
Applicants are required to submit their applications through the KUCCPS online portal.

To apply, candidates must visit the KUCCPS website at www.kuccps.ac.ke and access the Student’s Portal.
After logging in, applicants should view the available KMTC programmes, click on the application tab and follow the outlined process to complete their submission.
KUCCPS has set March 13, 2026, as the deadline for the applications.
Prospective students have been advised to carefully review the minimum entry requirements and programme details provided on the portal before making their selections.
The agency further encouraged interested candidates to seek clarification where necessary through its official communication channels.
Applicants can contact KUCCPS via telephone or email as indicated on the portal for assistance.
The re-opening of the KMTC application window is expected to benefit hundreds of students seeking to pursue careers in the health sector, especially amid increasing demand for skilled medical professionals across the country.
