The ministry said the information will help establish the extent of the incidents and guide appropriate intervention measures.

Education officials have been instructed to provide comprehensive details, including the names of affected schools, dates of the incidents, and the nature of the breakages, such as burglary, vandalism, or arson.

The report is also expected to outline items lost, damaged, or destroyed, as well as any action taken by school management, including police reports and recovery efforts.

Authorities said the compiled information must be submitted to the County Director’s office by February 24, 2026, at 3:00 p.m., to facilitate data consolidation and further action.

The move is seen as part of broader efforts by education authorities to enhance school security and safeguard public resources.

The officials indicated that the findings will inform strategies to prevent future incidents and ensure a safe learning environment for students and staff.

Education stakeholders in the region have welcomed the directive, expressing hope that the investigations will help address security gaps and strengthen the protection of school facilities across the county.
