Bomet East MP to issue bursary cheques, full sponsorships to needy learners in Longisa

Bomet East Member of Parliament (MP) Richard Yegon will today issue Day School bursary cheques and full sponsorship awards to learners at the Longisa NG-CDF Office grounds , reaffirming a firm commitment to ensuring that education is never interrupted due to lack of school fees.

The exercise will bring together learners and parents from across the constituency, many of whom face financial constraints that often threaten children’s continued schooling.

According to NGCDF officer, through the issuance of bursary cheques and full sponsorships, the programme offers timely relief to families while guaranteeing that beneficiaries remain in school without disruption.

The initiative targets day school learners as well as students requiring full sponsorship, reflecting a balanced approach to supporting education at different levels.

“By easing the financial burden on parents and guardians, the programme enables learners to concentrate on their studies, improve performance and pursue their academic ambitions with confidence.”
