Former St. Anthony Captain, Amos Wanjala joins Valencia Football Academy in Spain

Former St Anthony Boys High School player and captain Amos Wanjala has taken a major step in his football career after completing a move to Valencia CF Academy (Mestalla) in Spain.

Wanjala was instrumental in St Anthony’s 2023 campaign where he played a key leadership role in guiding the school to national championship glory, cementing his reputation as one of the standout talents of his generation.

Reacting to his move, Wanjala said, “Joining the Valencia CF Academy is a great opportunity.”

He joins Valencia from AC Torrellano, where he enjoyed a memorable spell marked by discipline, commitment and strong leadership.

His performances earned him respect and admiration both on and off the pitch.

AC Torrellano paid tribute to their departing captain, expressing pride in his journey and confidence that he will continue to grow and leave a lasting impact at Valencia CF Mestalla.

As he begins this exciting new chapter in Spanish football,Wanjala says that Torrellano will always remain his home.
