Moi Girls’ Kamusinga National School in Bungoma County has officially unveiled a newly acquired school van in a move aimed at strengthening the institution’s operations and deepening its engagement with the surrounding community.
The unveiling ceremony, held within the school compound, was presided over by the Chief Principal, Joyce Mulunda, who described the acquisition as a significant milestone in the school’s continuous efforts to improve efficiency and service delivery.
Speaking during the event, Mulunda said the van will play a critical role in supporting the school’s day-to-day activities, including academic trips, co-curricular engagements and administrative duties. She noted that reliable transport is an essential component in ensuring smooth operations in a national school that hosts learners from across the country.
“This van will greatly enhance our operational capacity. It will support academic programs, student activities and ensure timely movement for official school duties,” said Mulunda.
Beyond serving the school, the Chief Principal emphasized that the vehicle will also be used to support the wider community, underscoring Moi Girls’ Kamusinga’s long-standing tradition of social responsibility. She said the institution remains committed not only to nurturing academic excellence but also to positively impacting the community in which it operates.
