Learning at the iconic Sacho High School was disrupted yesterday after Form 3 and 4 students staged a protest and were sent home, halting lessons for the affected classes.
Sources told this newspaper that the unrest began on Monday night and continued into Tuesday, with the students refusing to attend lessons for reasons that remain unclear.
Despite several consultations with education stakeholders, the protest reportedly persisted.

The school Principal, Alphonce Malowa, denied claims that the school had been closed, stressing that Grade 10 students and those in the comprehensive section continued with lessons as normal.
Parents said they were advised to collect their children, although it is still unclear whether any property was damaged during the unrest.
This is the first recorded student strike in Sacho High School’s history, a rare disruption at a school owned by the Moi family, long known for its discipline, Christian values, and strong academic performance.
