Tom Amadi has officially assumed office as the new principal of Oriwo Boys High School, marking a leadership transition at the renowned Homa Bay County institution. He takes over from Henry Airo, who has been transferred to Sawagongo Boys High School in Siaya County.
Amadi is a seasoned educationist and veteran mathematician with a distinguished record in school leadership. He has authored several mathematics textbooks widely used in secondary schools across the country, a contribution that has earned him respect within academic circles.
Before his appointment to Oriwo Boys High School, Amadi served as principal of Kamusinde Boys High School in Bungoma County, where he steered the school to improved academic performance. He was later transferred to Nambale Boys High School in Busia County, continuing his trend of academic and institutional transformation.
Earlier this year, he was posted to Magunga Secondary School in Kisumu County, where he again left a mark through focused leadership and performance-driven management. His transfer to Oriwo Boys High School now places him at the helm of one of the region’s academic giants.

Education stakeholders have expressed optimism that Amadi’s proven leadership style and deep academic background will help strengthen performance, discipline and overall management at Oriwo Boys High School.
