The Masinde Muliro University of Science and Technology Alumni Association (MMUSTAA) has announced plans for a high-profile 2025 Alumni Dinner aimed at raising funds to support the institution’s Endowment Fund for needy students.

The prestigious event is slated for Friday, December 19, 2025, at the Golf Hotel, Kakamega, with activities beginning at 6:00 PM. According to organisers, the dinner will serve as a platform for former students to dine, network, reconnect and anchor new collaborations to strengthen the university’s community impact.

In the fundraising invitation shared by the association, alumni and their accompanying guests will participate by contributing through various categories. Early bird rates place Platinum (VVIP) attendance at Ksh 8,500, Gold (VIP) at Ksh 5,000, and Silver (Guest) at Ksh 3,500. Charges will slightly increase at the venue, with Platinum going for Ksh 10,000, Gold at Ksh 7,000, and Silver at Ksh 4,000.

MMUSTAA emphasized that every shilling raised will go directly into the MMUST Endowment Fund, a key financial support system that ensures vulnerable and academically deserving students continue with their studies uninterrupted.

Payments and donations are being channeled through Paybill 522533, Account Number 8033516, under the account name MMUSTAA.

Organisers say the dinner will not only celebrate the university’s growing alumni network but also reinforce a culture of giving back; ensuring future generations of students have better opportunities to succeed.

The event is expected to draw prominent alumni, partners and friends of the university in what is projected to be one of MMUST’s biggest alumni gatherings in recent years.
