The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has continued to effect leadership changes in secondary schools.
The former Principal of Masii Girls High School, Margaret Njeru, has been reassigned to Alliance Girls High School in Kiambu, following a brief stint at Mumbi Girls’ High School in Kiharu, Murang’a County.
Njeru had initially swapped with Esther Wambugu at Mumbi Girls in a transfer that was effected on September 10, 2025.
The local TSC office confirmed the changes, describing them as regular transfers.

“The movement of teachers is normal as the TSC has the mandate to effect changes at any time,” said a source.
This month, Njeru was moved to the prestigious Alliance Girls, where she reported early this month, swapping with the Chief Principal, Florence Nthumbi.
Before proceeding to Alliance Girls High School, Nthumbi had served at South Tetu Girls High School in Nyeri County, having earlier been the Principal of Kianderi Girls High School in Kiharu, Murang’a.
