Parents and teachers of Nyanchwa Primary School in Nyaribari Chache, Kisii County have expressed their happiness for the renovation and construction of new classrooms through the National Government Constituency Fund, NG-CDF
Nyaribari Chache MP Zaheer Jhanda while handing over the classrooms to school management in a ceremony on Thursday September 4, said the renovation of the classrooms and addition of 4 more news ones was done to create a conducive learning environment for pupils by easing congestion in their classrooms
“We received the request from this school to help you to construct new classrooms and now hand them over to you and we shall continue helping the school in future.” He said.
Jhanda also revealed that his office used more than Ksh 50,million to complete the whole work.
The MP stressed on the importance of supporting education to grow from the primary level because it is where the good foundation is laid.

He asked parents to provide their children with enough food, shelter and parental security that will give them confidence to face the world and withstand its social and economic ills.
Saying that idleness among children leads to temptations like the abuse of drugs, sexual immorality and other social vices, he asked teachers to involve pupils in sports and discover their talents which are recognized and valued in the new Competency Based Curriculum.
The MP further assured that he will deliver the school bus, assorted sports kits to enhance sporting in the school and aid in movement.
