The Kenya Universities and Colleges Central Placement Service (KUCCPS) has announced that the Inter-University Transfers Portal will officially open from July 14 to August 24, 2025.
This transfer window allows students placed by KUCCPS in various universities and colleges to apply for a change of institution or program, subject to eligibility and approval criteria.
The announcement was made in partnership with the SirKelly Foundation, which is offering advisory support and career guidance through its dedicated SirKelly Career Desk.
The Foundation aims to simplify the transfer process and ensure transparency and accessibility for all students seeking alternatives.
Interested students are encouraged to visit the KUCCPS website or contact the SirKelly Career Desk for step-by-step assistance during the application process.

The portal will remain open for 41 days, offering sufficient time for applicants to prepare the necessary documents and make informed decisions.
Transfers are considered based on available capacity in the target institution, minimum entry requirements, and approval by both the releasing and receiving institutions.
Students are advised to take advantage of this opportunity early to avoid last-minute technical hitches and ensure smooth processing of their requests.
