Kisumu Boys, KCB Bank partner in solarisation of the school

The Kenya commercial Bank has entered into a partnership with Kisumu Boys high school,to revolve around solarisation of the school.

According to KCB bank director in charge of corporate banking, John Okulo, the collaboration is part of its social corporate responsibility.

Okulo said that the project will be undertaken through the KCB foundation which he noted has been in the forefront in carrying out a number of projects in learning institutions across the country.

The director spoke at the Kisumu Boys high school during a joint sporting day between the learning institution and the Bank.

Okulo further noted that they will also discuss ways and means of ensuring that the school infrastructure is improved moving forward.

He noted that the school now requires storied buildings in order to ensure that more structures can be accommodated.

Board chairman Simon Peter lauded the partnership saying that it go a long way in improving the face of the learning institution.

He said the school has been suffering due to shortage of facilities such as classrooms due to high demand for spaces.

Muma echoed the same noting that the bank is at the moment sponsoring a number of learners there.
