Margaret Njoka has assumed the leadership role at the Salaries and Remuneration Commission (SRC) in an acting capacity, succeeding Dr Anne Gitau as Secretary and Chief Executive Officer following the expiration of her term of office.
In a press release, SRC confirmed that Dr. Gitau officially stepped down from the commission on June 30, 2025, marking the end of her two-year tenure as CEO.
Njoka, currently the Director of Corporate Services at SRC, will assume the interim leadership role as the agency begins its search for a substantive CEO.
