Over 10,000 young people graduated from the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) Weekend Academy Season 8 program, in a colorful event held at the IYF Centre located behind Safari Park Hotel, Nairobi.
The two day graduation ceremony ran from Saturday to Sunday and marked the conclusion of months of weekend training sessions focused on mindset education, leadership and personal development.
The event was organized by IYF Kenya in partnership with the State Department for Youth Affairs under the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports. Though the Ministry was not the main organizer, its officials were present to support and witness the success of the youth-focused initiative.

The graduation ceremony, dubbed the “Success Festival,” brought together youth from across the country who had undergone soft skills training, entrepreneurship sessions and character development modules. Guests included educators, community leaders and government officials, who praised the graduates for their dedication and commended IYF for its consistent investment in empowering Kenya’s youth.
The Weekend Academy is part of IYF’s global model of cultivating resilient and ethical young leaders through consistent mentorship and capacity building. The successful completion of Season 8 underlines the growing demand for practical, non-formal education platforms that complement Kenya’s broader youth empowerment agenda.
