South Mugirango MP Sylvanus Osoro, on Sunday, June 29, 2025, issued a cheque of Shs 2 million from the NG-CDF office to complete the administration block at Kebabe Secondary School.
He regretted the delay in completing the block, saying that it was caused by the National Treasury, which releases money to the Constituencies in phases depending on its availability.
“Sometimes there is a delay in the release of funds from the treasury, but I ask you to be patient whenever that happens, but finally you must get what belongs to you,” he said.
The MP stated that the government will complete the construction of the Etago-Ekona-Omogenda-Geteni-Nyamaiya roads to a bituminous level, aiming to ease students’ travel to school and the transportation of farm produce to the market.

After the road is completed, among the schools that will benefit from easy transportation are Nyatwoni Ikoba, St. Alphonce Nyabine, Nyamondo, and Monianku Secondary Schools.
The primary schools that will benefit from the improved road network include Nyatwoni, Rionsata, Kenuchi, and Makongeni, among others, along the route.
The MP asked the residents to live in peace with their Transmara neighbours in Narok County by eating together and engaging in play activities to foster a harmonious relationship among themselves.
The MP caused light laughter when he encouraged the youth from Kisii and Trans Mara to intermarry, thereby becoming the source of the long-lasting coexistence between the two communities, which are often at odds due to traditional cattle raids from each other.
On politics, the MP who looked jovial asked the residents to support the government of the day because they are the ones with money to develop the county.
“At this time, let us focus on development. 2027 is too far for people to start a campaign.”
He asked the Management School Committee to use the money they were issued with prudence to enable them to complete the modern administration block and furnish it with presentable furniture.
