The flagged posts falsely claimed that the cut-off points for Education degree courses had been revised upwards, stating that only students with 27 points and above could pursue Education degrees in public universities.
According to the misleading information, students with a C+ would only qualify if they joined private universities. “KUCCPS has revised their cut-off points for education and the current ones C+ students interested in education might miss out, this is due to the rise of cut-off points which many aren’t considering. The current cut-off points are 27 and above in public universities.”
“This means you can only do a degree in education with a C+ if you go to a private institution. Make an informed decision,” the fake post read.
