Several Teachers Service Commission (TSC) County Directors have been reshuffled in new changes made by the teachers’ employer this week, Education News has authoritatively confirmed.
A good number of field officers affected by the transfers confirmed to have received their deployment letters and were preparing to depart for their new stations while others were caught unawares by the information.
Also affected in the movements are several County deputy directors and Sub-County counterparts. Those in the mix include Murang’a County Director (CD), Fredrick Ng’ang’a who now proceeds to the Coast region on promotion as the new Regional Director (RD).
Ng’ang’a will replace long-serving director, Juliet Kariuki who has since retired. On the other hand, Margaret Kinyanjui who has been in charge of Kakamega County as director now reports to Murang’a to take over from Ng’ang’a.
Wilson Koros who has been the Bungoma County boss will replace Ms. Kinyanjui in Kakamega. Koros on his part will be replaced by Evans Esese, a long-time staffer at the TSC headquarters who was recently promoted after rigorous interviews for vacant county director positions.
Other field officers moved include; The Homa Bay director, Dr. Esther Musani who now shifts base to West Pokot. She will be taking over from Francis Lotam who proceeded to retirement recently. Consequently, Kericho County boss, Milton Oyugi will take over from Musani in Homa Bay.

Also moved is Everlyne Chemjor who has been Sub-County Director (SCD) in charge of Tongaren in Bungoma County. She has now been deployed to Nandi County as the new DD.
Chemjor replaces Wilfred Mosigisi who now departs for Bomet in similar capacity. He replaces Daniel Mochama who retired mid this year. In other changes of the same ilk, the Busia County DD, John Paul Wepoke has been transferred to his native West Pokot County to replace Joseph Musyoka who now proceeds to Tharaka Nithi in similar capacity.
It has also been established that Ndombi Shivachi, who has been serving as the Bumula SCD now decamps to Busia on promotion as the new DD. He takes over from Wepoke. Similarly, Samwel Wasonga who has been the Taita SCD moves to Bumula to replace Shivachi.
