West Mugirango has spent more than Ksh150 million towards the development of infrastructure in both primary and secondary schools through the constituency’s NG-CDF, MP Steve Mogaka has said.

Speaking during the handing over of two classrooms to Mang’ong’o ELCK Primary School’s board, he noted that they will partially address the facility shortage in the school and decongest available classrooms.

He asked parents to prioritize the education of their children, saying that any society without a proper foundation of education is doomed.

“This world needs knowledgeable people who will assist in confronting development barriers such as ignorance, disease and poverty,” he said.

Mogaka called on Nyamira Governor Amos Nyaribo to construct modern ECDE classrooms and also pay ECDE teachers their overdue salaries.
