Narok DG to support students joining Kipsigis TTC with bursary

Narok County Deputy Governor Tumalinye Koech paid a courtesy call to Kipsigis Teachers Training College which is located at Chemosot Ward in Bureti Sub-county where he had lengthy discussions on the way forward to sponsor students from his county to study at the institution.

He met with the school administration led by Bishop Daniel Ngetich who is the college chairman, Enoch Bii and Isaack Bii who are members of the College Board of Directors on mission to ensure many students from his county are absorbed at the institution.

His “Tamalinye Foundation” will pay KSh5000 to each student from Narok joining the college.

He added that he will also lobby for a county bursary of KSh10,000 to student joining the college.

Therefore qualified and needy students joining the institution will only pay KSh10,000 a term as agreed with the school management.

The college offers training for Diploma in Primary Teacher Education and they have students from all counties.
