Sports fraternity in West Pokot is mourning sudden death of primary schools sports official Silas Naibei. Naibei has been a long serving primary schools sports secretary in West Pokot. Until his demise he was primary schools sports secretary at Kanyarkwat zone.

Naibei took his last breath end of last week.
Naibei popularly known as Okwembo Okwembo was in a jovial mood the whole of the last week training pupils in his school for the upcoming primary school competitions.
Also, last week, he coordinated sports in his zone and even attended the School Based Teacher Support System (SBTSS) workshop at Nasokol Girls Secondary which seemed to be his last official duty.

One of the senior primary schools sports officials in Mnagei zone in Kapenguria in West Pokot County said had given most of his life to sports and conveyed heartfelt sympathy and deepest condolence to the grieving family.
