15 pupils score above 400 marks in Marell Academy

15 pupils of Marell Academy in  Bungoma  County have impressed by performing exceptionally well to score over 400 marks in this year’s KCPE.

Addressing  the  Press  at the  school  located  in  Kanduyi  Constituency ,  the  head teacher David  Kang’o said  the  top  student  Millicent  Barasa  scored  416  marks.

Elsewhere in Bungoma DEB  Primary, seven pupils attained the same feat, with the top pupil Lungwai Wekesa scoring 409 marks.

However, the head teacher  Tobias  Khisa  lamented the poor access to the KNEC portal.

He said the drawback had alarmed teachers, parents and the candidates to panic levels, with many contacting friends in Nairobi to help them out as anxiety took the better of them.

This  year  Bungoma  County  had  a total  KCPE  2023  candidature  of  75,047.
