Shadrack Pyatich Partich has graduated with a first-class honors degree bringing joy and inspiration to the villagers of Chewoyet village, Kapenguria, West Pokot County.
Partich was born in 1999 in Kitoyo Village,West Pokot County and later relocated to Chewoyet Village, Kapenguria Constituency.
His educational journey began in 2003 at Rev. Murupus Christian Academy before transferring to Nasokol Primary School, where he completed his KCPE in 2014.

His remarkable score of 378 marks placed him as the second-ranked student in his school.
In 2015, Shadrack embarked on an educational journey that took him to St. Joseph’s Boys National School in Kitale where he completed his KCSE examination with a B- (minus) grade.
In 2019, Shadrack enrolled at South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU) in Kitui County, where he pursued a Bachelor of Economics and Statistics degree under the School of Business and Economics.
His dedication and hard work paid off, as he graduated in 2023 with a first-class honors degree, a remarkable achievement considering he was the sole student in his class to achieve this distinction among the 91 students.
Shadrack emphasized the importance of focus and self-discipline, asserting that these qualities can propel any student to their desired academic heights.
He extended his gratitude to Professor Geofrey Muluvi, the Vice-Chancellor of South Eastern Kenya University (SEKU), for his unwavering support and efficient administration of the institution.

Shadrack also acknowledged his parents, Joel Partich, the West Pokot KNUT Branch chairman, and his mother, Pauline Partich, a teacher at Tomena Primary School, for their unwavering support throughout his educational journey.
“Currently, Iam pursuing a CPA course through KASNEB at Kitale National Polytechnic,” he stated.
As the second-born in his family, he expresses his gratitude to his elder sister, Mercy Chemto, a teacher at Revarend Murpus Christian Academy in Kapenguria, and his brothers Meshack Roptum and Gideon Poghisho.
Shadrack’s remarkable achievement garnered congratulatory messages from Martin Sembelo, the KNUT West Pokot County Branch, and teachers across the county.
During a family gathering and ceremony, Rev. Dr. Arika Ekitala, the General Secretary of the Reformed Church of East Africa and the Moi University Chaplain, praised Shadrack as the best student in West Pokot County.
Shadrack Pyatich Partich is now reaching out to well-wishers, appealing for their support in securing a scholarship that would enable him to pursue his Master’s degree in Economics.
