Oyuu , 4 others appointed to KNQA board

Kenya National Union of Teachers (KNUT) Secretary General is among the five other people appointed by Education Cabinet Secretary Ezekiel Machogu to the board of the Kenya National Qualification Authority (KNQA) for a period of three years.
Oyuu will represent Central Organisation of Trade Union of Kenya (COTU-Kenya), in the appointment done through a gazette notice number 14103 dated October 17, 2023.
Others include Commission for University Education Chief Executive Officer Prof. Mike Kura, Technical Vocational Education and Training Authority (TVETA) Director General Dr. Kipkirui Langat, Director of Quality Assurance at the Ministry of Education Everline Owoko, and Federation of Kenya Employers Chief Executive Officer Jacqueline Mugo.
Their appointment is effective from October 19, 2023, and they will be under the leadership of Former Baringo Governor Stanley Kiptis who was appointed in June this year as the Board Chairperson for three years.
