Chapa Dimba Western region champs Brenda Girls now focus on the national battle

After winning Safaricom Chapa Dimba Western region, Brenda Girls High School Principal Beatrice Ngutuku has exuded confidence that her girls will perform well in the national championship slated for early next year.

In a thrilling match, Brenda girls from Webuye West, Bungoma County hammered Lugari Progressive 2-1 in Western region finals.

Speaking to the press on the phone, the Principal thanked Safaricom for the tournament which has given his girls a platform to showcase their talents.

“As the Principal of Brenda Girls I will work extra smart to make sure the school grows to be an academic and football hub,” she said.

The school games teacher Kilwake Wachiye noted he had an elaborate plan to enhance the training of his team ahead of the national championship.

His statement was backed up by the school football coach Dickson Simiyu who said the team is determined and focused on winning the national championship.

Mr. Simiyu further praised his girls for following instructions thus emerging the winners.

The national champion will then proceed to Spain for a training boot camp with clubs that participate in Laliga.
