In a bid to enhance education standards in Kisii County, nominated Senator Essy Okenyuri has pledged her full support for performing schools in the County.
The senator who was addressing Cardinal Otunga Mosocho Rugby 7s team and their teachers who had paid a courtesy call at her Senate office in Nairobi on Friday said it was imperative to appreciate and motivate students for both academics and extracurricular performance.
She said discipline was the key to success in everything we do in life.
“Self-discipline is to the main key to anything that you want to achieve in life.” She said.
The Senator said she was working closely with the Cabinet Secretary for education Ezekiel Machogu to ensure that academic standards were on an upward trajectory.
She thanked the Chief Principal Mr. Albert Ombiro and his two deputies for the visionary leadership in the school.
Cardinal Otunga Mosocho is one of the best performers in the country. Last year over 400 students qualified for direct entry to the University.
