National rugby fifteens champions Upper Hill School delivered an impressive performance against visiting Scottish side Dollar Academy, winning both the Under-16 and Under-19 matches played in Nairobi.

In the Under-16 category, Upper Hill School displayed their attacking prowess and defensive discipline to record a commanding 55-5 victory over the Scottish visitors.
National rugby fifteens champions Upper Hill School delivered an impressive performance against visiting Scottish side Dollar Academy, winning both the Under-16 and Under-19 matches played in Nairobi.
The friendly fixtures formed part of Dollar Academy’s rugby tour of Kenya, which is aimed at providing international exposure and strengthening sporting ties between the two countries.
In the Under-16 category, Upper Hill School displayed their attacking prowess and defensive discipline to record a commanding 55-5 victory over the Scottish visitors.
The Kenyan champions controlled the game from the onset, running in a series of tries to overwhelm Dollar Academy.
The Under-19 encounter proved more competitive, but Upper Hill once again emerged victorious after defeating Dollar Academy 28-12.
The match showcased quality rugby from both sides, with the visitors putting up a spirited fight before Upper Hill’s experience and physicality proved decisive.

The victories further underline Upper Hill’s status as one of Kenya’s leading school rugby powerhouses following their success in the national secondary school championships.
For Dollar Academy, the matches provided valuable experience against top-level Kenyan school rugby opposition.
The Scottish side is using the tour to expose its players to different playing styles and competitive environments.
The visitors will continue their Kenyan tour on Sunday, July 5, when they face Mombasa RFC Rugby Academy in another friendly fixture.
They will then take on former national rugby champions Kisii School on Tuesday, July 7, from 2:00 p.m.

Following the match against Kisii School, the touring team will participate in a tree-planting exercise at the RFUEA Grounds along Ngong Road, highlighting the environmental conservation aspect of their visit.
The tour has attracted significant interest among rugby enthusiasts, offering local players and fans an opportunity to witness international school rugby competition while fostering cultural exchange through sport.
Upper Hill’s dominant display against the Scottish visitors will provide confidence as the school continues preparations for future competitions, while Dollar Academy will be hoping to bounce back in their remaining fixtures against Mombasa RFC Rugby Academy and Kisii School.
