Students at the University of Kabianga are set to benefit from a financial literacy sensitization programme scheduled for Wednesday.
The session will begin at 10:00 a.m. and will be held at the LTB 4 Basement within the university campus.
According to an internal memo from the office of the Dean of Students, the initiative aims to equip students with essential financial management knowledge and practical skills that they can apply both in personal life and future careers.
The session will be facilitated by a team of financial experts from Kenya Commercial Bank (KCB) in Kericho.
The experts will provide guidance on key topics such as budgeting, saving, responsible borrowing and exploring investment opportunities.
Dean of students Peter Ngugi encouraged all students to attend, noting that the program presents a valuable chance to interact with finance specialists and potential employers from the banking sector.
