The Technical and Vocational Education and Training Curriculum Development, Assessment and Certification Council (TVET CDACC) has scheduled the external verification of Portfolios of Evidence for candidates who will sit the November/December 2025 assessment series.
The nationwide exercise will run from October 27 to November 14, 2025, and will involve National Polytechnics, Institutes of Science and Technology, Technical Training Institutes, Technical and Vocational Colleges, Private Colleges, Universities implementing Competency-Based Education and Training (CBET), and Vocational Training Centres.
According to TVET CDACC, institutions are required to ensure that all Portfolios of Evidence (POE) and continuous assessment score sheets are prepared and presented in line with official verification guidelines. Trainer assessors will be responsible for submitting the documents and responding to any clarification requests made during the verification process.

Institutions that will not be ready by October 24 have been advised that their candidates’ evidence will be reviewed in the next assessment series. The Council cautioned that such delays will also affect the release of results for the affected candidates.
The verification process is part of TVET CDACC’s continued efforts to enhance the credibility of CBET assessments and maintain high standards in technical and vocational training across the country.
TVET CDACC Chief Executive Officer and Council Secretary, Professor Kisilu Kitainge, reaffirmed the Council’s commitment to ensuring quality assurance in all assessment and certification processes within the TVET sector.
