Teachers Service Commissioner (TSC) Chairman Dr. Jamleck Muturi.

The top brass of the Teachers Service Commission (TSC), comprising representatives from both headquarters and the field, are currently meeting in Naivasha to assess their progress as the New Financial Year comes to a close.

Speaking to Education News, a TSC senior official stated that commissioners, regional directors, county directors, and several deputy directors are attending the workshop.

The officer also revealed that discipline officers were in attendance at the seminar to review progress on the implementation of the Teacher Mentorship and Coaching programme and its impact on the teaching service.

The main theme of the event is ‘Transformative Leadership – The TSC Perspective,’ and the team has been divided into four groups. Commissioners are discussing the agenda separately, while regional directors and directors from Nairobi City are meeting in a separate meeting area.

Then, county directors meet independently, just as the disciplined officers.

It is understood that directors from the TSC headquarters will be expected to arrive for the meeting as well by tomorrow.

Insiders at the meeting say they are booked on a full-board basis up to the end of the week.
