The Teachers Service Commission (TSC) has today unveiled a massive recruitment drive, advertising 21,313 vacancies for various leadership and support positions in public schools across the nation.
In a notice posted on the Commission’s official Facebook page this morning, TSC invited applications from suitably qualified teachers for roles ranging from Chief Principal to Curriculum Support Officer.
According to the announcement, “Interested candidates, who meet the required qualifications, should submit their applications online through the TSC portal to be received by Monday, 25th August 2025, Midnight.”
This marks one of the most extensive single recruitment exercises by the Commission in recent years, aimed at filling key administrative and instructional leadership gaps.
The vacancies span a broad spectrum of grades and specialisations, including 1,900 positions for Senior Principals, 1,400 for Senior Head Teachers (Regular), 850 for Senior Master IV (Regular), and 4,683 for Senior Teacher II (Regular).

“Successful candidates shall be posted to schools where vacancies are available,” TSC said.
Special needs education (SNE) has also received significant attention in the recruitment drive.
Positions such as Senior Principal – SNE, Senior Head Teacher – SNE, and Senior Teacher I – SNE have been advertised to strengthen inclusivity in school leadership.
The Commission reaffirmed that, “TSC is an equal opportunity employer and persons with disabilities are encouraged to apply.”
Applications will only be accepted online, with the Commission warning that “Manual applications shall not be considered,” a move aimed at streamlining the process and ensuring efficiency.
