Panic and confusion gripped Solai Boys High School in Nakuru on Tuesday night after a dormitory fire incident forced parents to gather anxiously outside the school gates, demanding information about their children.
The fire, which broke out in one of the dormitories, prompted swift intervention by staff and local authorities. However, parents arriving at the school were barred from entering, sparking commotion as police officers struggled to maintain order.
Some parents attempted to push past security in desperation, citing frustration over the lack of immediate communication from the administration.
