Nyamira Knut branch executive secretary, Mr Kennedy Migosi has asked teachers from the county who are teaching in North Eastern to move out because their lives are under threat.
Migosi claimed residents from North Eastern by targeting the teachers, they had shown that they were not serious with their children’s education.
Speaking to the Education News in Nyamira town, Migosi lamented that some teachers from the county teaching in North Eastern province had been killed in the course of discharging their duties.
He commended the Teacher Service Commission (TSC) Secretary, Mrs Nacy Macharia for ordering the transfer of non-indigenous teachers from North Eastern region on security grounds.
