Teachers access to health care services still a major problem

Health care services access by teachers is still a nightmare at the verge of the new  controversial social Health Authority wave.

This was revealed by Makueni County KNUT executive secretary Benson Ndambuki who admitted that SHA is still a big challenge in teachers access to health services.

He noted that the health scheme is making teachers suffer since they are not getting appropriate services.

“Teachers are still suffering in hospital. I think it were better if the government should reverse the policy and bring back NHIF which used to help our teachers without much suffering,” Ndambuki said.
