St. Joseph’s Girls-Kitale unveils state -of -the -art gate at colourful ceremony

In a colourful celebration marked by pride and progress, St. Joseph’s Girls High School (JOGA) yesterday unveiled its new state -of -the -art gate, a striking symbol of transformation and excellence in education within Trans Nzoia County.

The grand unveiling was presided over by the Regional Director of Education, Rift Valley, James Wasitia Indimuli, who officially commissioned the gate in a colorful ceremony attended by key education stakeholders.

Addressing the gathering, Indimuli commended the school’s leadership and community for their vision and commitment to creating a safe, welcoming, and inspiring environment for learners.

“This gate is more than just a structure—it represents a new chapter of pride, security, and ambition for St. Joseph’s Girls. It stands as a beacon of what focused leadership and community support can achieve,” he remarked.

The County Director of Education, members of the Board of Management, teachers, and students also graced the occasion, which was filled with song, celebration, and reflection on the school’s journey toward excellence.

Board of Management representatives lauded the collaborative effort that led to the realization of the project, highlighting the role of stakeholders, alumni, and the wider community in supporting the school’s continued development.

Principal Rosebella Orwaru, expressed heartfelt gratitude, noting that the new gate is a visible affirmation of the school’s growing stature and commitment to academic and infrastructural excellence.

“We are immensely proud of this achievement,” she said. “It’s a testament to our dedication to providing a secure and motivating learning environment for our girls. We thank all who have walked this journey with us.”

As the gate opened to welcome a new era, the atmosphere was electric with optimism, unity, and a shared vision for the future of education at JOGA.
