St. Joseph’s Boys-Kitale has intensified preparations for the 2026 Federation of East African Secondary Schools Sports Association (FEASSSA) Games after several of its teams secured qualification for the regional championships to be held in Morogoro, Tanzania.
The school’s handball team has already booked its place at the East African competition after finishing as the national first runners-up, earning the opportunity to represent Kenya against top school teams from across the region.
The 2026 FEASSSA Games are scheduled for Morogoro from August 12 to 23 and will bring together schools from Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Rwanda and Burundi.
Besides handball, St. Joseph’s Boys will also be represented in lacrosse, table tennis, lawn tennis, cricket and music, underlining the school’s strength across both sporting and co-curricular disciplines.
The qualification of multiple teams highlights the institution’s continued investment in talent development and its reputation as one of Kenya’s leading schools in both academics and extracurricular activities.
