Nyamira County Senator has added to leaders from the region congratulating Ezekiel Machogu for his nomination as Education Cabinet Secretary by President Ruto.
Senator Okong’o Omogeni expressed confidence in his competence and urged him to live up to the expectations of citizens in delivering efficient service.
His sentiments were reiterated by area residents.
“We ask him to build on the foundation left behind by his predecessors and amend problematic elements in the sector,” said James Atuti.
They asked him to keenly listen to all education stakeholders countrywide and work with them harmoniously and not give roadside intimidatory declarations about any change.
“We expect him to lead instead of ordering so as to ensure the success of education in our country,” expressed Daniel Aosa.
Senator Okong’o thanked the President for nominating Machogu and requested him to consider providing another government position to balance the regional power equation.
