With various educational events geared toward developing talent, encouraging innovation, and encouraging teamwork, April 2025 is expected to be a busy month for students around Kenya.
Students will demonstrate their abilities in various fields at events ranging from national sporting championships and science fairs to drama and film festivals. Below is a summary of the activities.
Secondary Schools Sports (Under 18)

Opening Ceremony: April 7 at Shanzu Teachers Training College (TTC)
Closing Ceremony: April 12 at Shanzu TTC

2. Kenya Science and Engineering Fair
Dates: April 6th – 12, 2025
Location: Kangaru High School, Embu County
Focus: Showcasing innovative STEM projects by students
Opening Ceremony: April 7 at Kangaru High School

3. National Drama and Film Festival
