School in Nyeri tops in select regional exams again

Moi Complex Primary School from Nyeri has clinched the top spot in the NAKIHINYE national primary school examinations hosted at Kitale School, boasting an outstanding score of 348.9.

Hill School Eldoret secured the second position with a score of 347.7, closely trailed by Kitale School and Nairobi School scoring 341.9 and 340.1 respectively.

The NAKIHINYE exam administrators, comprised of teachers from these esteemed institutions, revealed the second term outcomes, highlighting the exam’s recurring nature.

Nyeri has consistently demonstrated their educational prowess by consistently securing the top spot as they attained a score of 339.8 in term 1.

The top school’s Headteacher Mr. Vincent Mwangi said that discipline, hard work and a strong collaboration between teachers, students and parents were integral to their achievements.

He further emphasized the paramount importance of prioritizing God in all aspects of their educational journey in addition to religiously reading newspapers.

While appreciating the stellar performance of Hill School Eldoret, Mr. Mwangi acknowledged the intense competition between the two institutions.

“Hill School came remarkably close during the second term, serving as a testament to the need for us to continuously enhance our strategies,” he remarked.

Radiating with pride, Mr. Mwangi noted that the school has consistently led among the NAKIHINYE schools for the past three years.

The exceptional achievements of the school have undoubtedly solidified their reputation as an educational powerhouse, leaving other institutions inspired and motivated to strive for excellence in future competitions.
